Biography

A painter. She studied at the Accademia Albertina and went on to make her name as a portrait painter. After creating works with symbolist and Liberty overtones, she went to Rome in 1914, where the following year she exhibited at the 3rd Secessione Romana, adopting the linearity and powerful sculptural synthesis of movement in highly original works. After the war she exhibited regularly in Turin, with a preference for subjects from peasant life, together with landscapes, still lifes and flowers.
