Biography

After studying at the Accademia Albertina, he made his debut in the early 1960s with works that tended towards monochrome. In the early 1970s, in place of canvas he turned to plexiglas, then to the wall itself, on which he worked with lead and antimony alloys. His investigations of signs, spaces and supports later led him to more material solutions, replacing colours with material "signs" (wood, charcoal, carob, and metal fragments).
