Biography

A sculptor. In 1935, he attended the Academy in Rome and frequented the artists of the School of Rome. In 1939 he started working with ceramic, a material that allowed him to create a unique material and colour combination of his own. In 1940 he exhibited with Fancello at the Triennale in Milan. After the Resistance, he met with success in his early "realist" period ("Roman Mother Killed by the Germans", 1944). In 1947 he joined the "Fronte Nuovo delle Arti". This was followed by an abstract neo-Cubist period.
