Biography

An architect. In 1913 he moved from Argentina to Turin, where he graduated in 1924. A pupil of and assistant to G. Chevalley, he lectured at the Faculty of Architecture in Turin from 1934 to 1971. His name is linked not just to important studies but also to buildings such as the Hotel Principi di Piemonte in Sestrières (1932), the Villa Sesia in Cavagnolo Po (1935-37), and the workers' village in Testona (with P. Perona, 1938-39) and the Palazzo Uffici Tecnici of the City of Turin (with P. Perona and G. Garbaccio, 1956-61).
