A painter and sculptor. After studying music in London and spending time in Paris, in 1924 she went to Rome, where he started painting. She joined Mario Mafai and moved into the apartment that was to become the "School of Via Cavour". She worked on sculpture from the 1930s, moving towards J. Epstein in London, but looking especially to Maillol. Going through the war and through a long, lonely creative process, it was only in the 1950s that she acquired considerable critical acclaim.
