A painter, graphic artist and ceramist. Close to Pavese from his years at the D'Azeglio high school, he made his debut at a very young age (1923) at the Futurist exhibition at the Galleria Romano, and continued to show his work with the Futurist group. He became an illustrator of natural history publications and worked tirelessly for Lenci. In 1930, he designed furniture for Beccaris and in 1932, in Paris, he worked with Vogue. Back in Turin, he designed covers for the Frassinelli publishing house.
